Past Tense Short Forms

Verbs:

past tense affirmative, compare with て form
past tense negative, compare with short negative form (ない　→ なかった)

Adjs:

past tense affirmative,
- い adjs, compare with past tense long affirmative（かったです）;
- な　adjs, add だった directly
past tense negative
- い　ajds, compare with くなかったです　（くなかったです　→ くなかった）
- な　adjs, compare with じゃなかったです　（じゃなかったです　→ じゃなかった）

Some Exceptions:

くる　きた　こなかった
する　した　しなかった
ある　あった　なかった
